Il mio viaggio in Cina mi ha reso curiosa di scoprire il quartiere cinese di Parigi. Difficile pensare che sia dovuta andare così lontano per scoprire la mia città…
Non ero mai stata nel quartiere cinese nel 13° arrondissement di Parigi per visitare, ma devo anche ammettere che se l’avessi visto prima di andare in Cina, sarebbe stato da una prospettiva completamente diversa.
È stato davvero interessante scoprire la Chinatown attraverso i miei « occhi di Shanghai », notando tutti i piccoli aspetti che mi ricordavano la mia vita cinese e tutto ciò che ho scoperto sul posto. Per questo trovo interessante presentare la mia visita del quartiere cinese di Parigi, confrontandola direttamente con la Cina. Con questo confronto fotografico spero di condividere con voi questa doppia prospettiva.
My trip to China made me curious to discover the Chinese quarter in Paris. Hard to think I had to go that far to discover my own city…
I had never been in the Chinese quarter located in the 13th arrondissement of Paris to look around, but I must also admit that if I had seen it before going to China, it would have been from a whole different perspective.
It was really interesting to visit it through my “Shanghai eyes”, noticing all the small aspects reminding me of my Chinese life and all what I discovered on the spot. Therefore I find it interesting to present to you my visit of the Chinese quarter in Paris comparing it with some sceneries in China. Through this picture comparison I hope to share with you this double perspective.
